Flat rate fee
We offer a flat rate for your consult - no extra cost or hidden surprises for different modalities  such as dry needling/acupuncture and shockwave therapy. 

There may be extra fees incurred for exercise equipment, injury management and first aid products, orthotics and orthopaedic braces. You will be recommended such products by your physiotherapist but not pressured to purchase them as part of your physiotherapy treatment plan. 

Bulk discounted physiotherapy consultations are also available on request for maintenance or long term treatment plans. 

No Treatment, No Fee
If we cannot help you after our initial physiotherapy assessment, we will happily not charge you for the initial consultation and refer you to an appropriate specialist to further investigate or resolve your injury!

ON THE SPOT Private Health Insurance rebates available via our HICAPS Merchant Facility. We accept all major private health insurance companies including Medibank Private, Bupa, HCF, AHM, Australian Unity Health and CBHS Corporate.

Bulk Billing - Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plans devised by your GP

We understand that not everyone can afford private physiotherapy services. For patients presenting who present with one or more chronic medical condition for over 6 months, may be eligible for bulk billing at Acland Street Physiotherapy. It is important to note that your bulk billed physiotherapy services is determined by your primary GP. Many physiotherapy clinics in Melbourne (particularly in the CBD) do not bulk bill due to increasingly overhead costs. Some physiotherapy clinics will only bulk bill if you see their junior or new graduate physiotherapist. Other physiotherapy clinics may only bulk bill their services during non-peak times. We have invested a lot of resources into advanced technologies to minimise our overheads whilst improving customer service experiences. This has enabled us to bulk bill chronic disease management plans 7 days per week during or after business hours. Work-related injuries - Workcover

NO GAP or UPFRONT payment is required for Worksafe (workers compensation) patients.

We do all the heavy lifting paperwork and communications for you to ease any stresses you may have with managing third party agents. 

We consult with your doctor to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding your return to work/life plans, physiotherapy treatment goals and recovery timeframes. 

NO GAP full treatment options for Worksafe (workers compensation) patients.

No upfront payments required from you for each consultation you attend.

We invoice your employer or workers compensation insurance company with your claim number directly.

Motor vehicle related injuries​ - TAC

We do all the heavy lifting paperwork and communications for you to ease any stresses you may have with managing TAC as an agent. 

We consult with your doctor to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding your return to work/life plans, physiotherapy treatment goals and recovery timeframes.

NO GAP full treatment options for TAC (Transport Accident Commission) patients.

​No upfront payments required from you for each consultation you attend.

We digitally process your payment via Lantern Pay so there is no need to chase up invoices with TAC and you do not have to account for anything on paper apart from attending your physiotherapy sessions.
