Acland Street Physiotherapy is a boutique, family-run sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinic in the heart of St Kilda.

We are always open to connecting with outstanding health professionals who care deeply about people, clinical standards, communication, and long-term patient outcomes.

We are particularly interested in meeting physiotherapists, osteopaths and myotherapists who want to build a loyal caseload, develop a strong clinical reputation, and be part of a clinic that values both hands-on care and modern healthcare innovation.

At Acland Street Physiotherapy, we are careful about who joins our team. We are not interested in filling rooms quickly. We prefer to get to know the right person over time and make sure there is a strong fit clinically, culturally and personally.

You may be a good fit if:

3. You understand that excellent private practice care requires more than clinical knowledge. Communication, reliability, time management, professionalism and commercial awareness all matter.
4. You believe great care is both an art and a science. You value evidence-based practice, but you also understand the importance of listening, clinical reasoning, manual assessment, exercise prescription and patient education.
5. You are interested in developing your hands-on assessment and treatment skills, while also becoming confident in exercise-based rehabilitation and long-term management.
6. You appreciate that communication outside the treatment room matters. Follow-up, clear treatment plans, collaboration with GPs and other health professionals, and patient support between sessions all help create better outcomes.
7. You enjoy working independently, but still value mentoring, support and being connected to an experienced team across healthcare, digital health and business operations.
8. You have a healthy, active lifestyle and enjoy promoting movement, exercise and wellbeing to your patients.
9. You have a strong work ethic, a “can-do” attitude and a willingness to keep learning.
10. You are open to working some after-hours or weekend sessions, particularly while building your caseload.
11. You are interested in developing your own clinical niche, personal brand and professional reputation with the support of an established local clinic.
12. You may not be experienced in social media, content marketing, digital health or clinical technology, but you recognise that these skills are increasingly important in modern private practice and are willing to learn.
13. You are ambitious and open to future leadership, management, innovation or business opportunities as the clinic continues to grow.
    
    

Previous private practice experience is helpful, but not essential. The right attitude, communication style and willingness to learn are more important.
