Frederique is a Physiotherapist and Certified Athletic Therapist with a strong background in sports rehabilitation and performance-based care. She holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University, graduating with High Distinction and receiving multiple Vice Chancellor’s Awards and Executive Dean’s List honours. She also completed both her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Exercise Science (Athletic Therapy Specialisation) at Concordia University, where she earned several academic merit scholarships and student-athlete awards. With over five years of experience working with high-level rugby, athletics, and ice hockey athletes, Frederique brings a performance-focused, practical approach to injury management. Her own background in competitive soccer, combined with her work as a coach and therapist, gives her a strong understanding of the physical demands of sport and returning safely to activity. Her treatment philosophy blends hands-on therapy with active rehabilitation. She uses manual therapy and dry needling to provide early pain relief and restore movement, while addressing the root cause through personalised education, strength training, and exercise-based rehab. Her goal is not only to help you recover quickly, but to build resilience and prevent future injuries. Frederique has particular interest and experience in: • Dry needling • Manual therapy • Foot and ankle rehabilitation • Knee and lower limb injuries • Return-to-sport rehab • Neck pain and headaches • Shoulder, elbow, and wrist conditions Outside the clinic, you’ll find her hiking, cycling, running, swimming, or exploring new ways to stay active. She enjoys helping people of all ages and abilities move better and feel confident returning to the activities they love. With Frederique, you can expect collaborative, engaging, and tailored care designed around your goals. |
